The blank poker chips have recessed sides that protect the edges of the labels, but I have not had any issues with the edges of the labels on the poker chip spacers (so far). The blank poker chips are 1.5" in diameter, whereas the poker chip spacers are 1.25" in diameter. I also considered using actual poker chips with printed labels, but I felt they would be too large. Plus, some of the expansion chips will require more information on them, which will be easier to accommodate with printed labels. I think I would still prefer my poker chip spacer version though. Since then I have painted some wooden dice and even custom tokens for The Lost Expedition, so I think I could now do a good job with paint. For one thing, I didn't think I was up to painting the chips at the time I made my version. I decided to use printed labels on poker chip spacers instead. Mindflip painted and drew on wooden discs for his version. I happen to fall into the former camp.ĭr. The art for Onirim seems to be divisive, with some people loving it and others strongly disliking it. I think using a pouch with chips, rather than a deck of cards, is the better way to play Onirim, but it does mean you do not get to see the art on the cards as you play. I think they are the perfect size for the chips. The poker chip spacers I used for the chips work very well. I am really happy with how my version turned out. I went to the Onirim forum to see if there were others who complained about the shuffling. I like Onirim, but I didn't care for all the shuffling. Mindflip refers to his version as "The Sandman's Pouch". The idea for a pouched version comes from DR MF ( drmindflip) from this forum post. I have an agreement in place to ensure that this designer will get a portion of the proceeds to ensure he gets compensated for his time.I created a pouched version of Onirim (2nd ed). The design was created by Thingiverse user Patella on (). The cost of this product is just for the printed parts only. NOTE: Game components and box are not included (just to show how the insert works). HOT CAR WARNING: Beware that the printed items could warp if left in a hot car. Thanks for stopping by, let me know if you have any questions. NOTE: Sleeved cards should fit, but I didn't have the right size on hand. This will fit all pieces in the original box. You can fit all the boards on top of the printed parts and the pieces will not move or shift when moving the box. This insert allows for very easy setup and fantastic organization. You are looking at an insert to hold the board game 7 Wonders Duel (Including Pantheon, Agora, promos, and the Solo PnP).
